Born and raised in San Jose, I am a mother of two, a life partner to my perfect match, and a student at SJSU. I believe that photography is about capturing life’s greatest moments and raw emotions. Every photo has a story to tell, and I want to be a storyteller for you. I draw inspiration from the subject and location, making every session organic and unique. I love the outdoors, especially the ocean, which is why all of my sessions take place in nature, using natural light.
Your photos are an investment. Every image has power and a purpose, and I certainly treat them as such. Each session is handled with the respect it deserves and I never rush through the editing process.
As a photographer, I aim to capture your authenticity, connection, and emotion. My priority is to make your session enjoyable and stress-free. Like your family, every session is unique and not choreographed. Let's keep things simple and fun by bringing on the goofy grins, secret dance moves, and extra long hugs.
Once your date is scheduled, we can begin planning. That includes going over the goals for your session, choosing a location, discussing what to wear, selecting the package option best suited for your family, and addressing any questions or special requests you may have.
After covering the fine details, a portrait agreement will be sent to you for review and signature. A 50% deposit and signed contract are required to officially book your date.
Throughout the session, I will guide you with prompts that will give us the greatest variety of images possible. While I stay away from overly posed photos, I might ask you to tilt your head, stand up tall, or swipe that hair from your face. For families of three or more, I make sure to get every combination possible. If you have your heart set on a special pose, please bring an example of it on your phone to share with me.
Once the editing process is complete, you will receive an invitation to view your gallery online. From there you can make your web-ready, high-resolution digital download selections, make comments, and order prints.
